Trên bìa cuốn Mekong, Dòng Sông Nghẽn Mạch  (xuất bản lần đầu

năm 2007, được tái bản nhiều lần, và gần đây nhất là ấn bản song ngữ

Việt Anh 2021), có in hình đập thủy điện Mạn Loan của Hoa Lục.

Do xem từ một tấm hình chụp khá xa, nên hồi đó, chúng tôi đã ghi chú mấy

chữ Hán ấy là:

漫湾电 广 Mạn Loan Điện Quảng

Nay được một người bạn, Tiến sĩ Nguyễn Duy Chính, cho biết chỗ sai:
Chữ Hán cuối là “Xưởng” (đúng ra được viết 厰, nhưng vì để giản lược bớt nét, Hoa Lục viết thành 厂, rất gần với lối viết giản lược của chữ广 “Quảng”). 

Do đó, chúng tôi xin bạn đọc sửa dùm: Mấy chữ Hán ấy là:

 漫湾电厂  Mạn Loan Điện Xưởng
